RIEDEL Superleggero Chardonnay

The Bordeaux Grand Cru glass is perfect for full-bodied wines and complex red wines that have a high tannin content. The size of the bowl ensures that the aromas of the wine develop well and the sharp edges are reduced. The shape of the glass emphasizes the fruit and ensures that the bitter tannins are somewhat flattened so that wines are better balanced.

The Riedel Superleggero series is the cream of the crop in the field of wine glasses that are not hand-blown. State-of-the-art techniques allow this glass to be made ultra-thin and light. The base of the glass is 106mm in diameter; the widest base ever.

The Riedel Supperlegero series is dishwasher safe, although we always recommend cleaning wine glasses by hand using microfibre cloths.

The shape of the original glass was designed by the 9th generation Claus J. RIEDEL. The current series (2022) is redesigned by the 12th generation Maximillian RIEDEL.
