RIEDEL Superleggero Hermitage/Syrah

The Superleggero Hermitage/Syrah glass is perfectly crafted to balance fruit, pepper and spicy aromas along with tannins often found in medium-bodied red wines. The glass is shaped like an egg, allowing the soft fruit, earthy tones and lingering flavours to come into their own. The shape also helps to maintain the velvety/silky texture.

The Riedel Superleggero series is the cream of the crop in the field of wine glasses that are not hand-blown. State-of-the-art techniques allow this glass to be made ultra-thin and light. The base of the glass is 106mm in diameter; the widest base ever.

The Riedel Supperlegero series is dishwasher safe, although we always recommend cleaning wine glasses by hand using microfibre cloths.

The shape of the original glass was designed by the 9th generation Claus J. RIEDEL. The current series (2022) is redesigned by the 12th generation Maximillian RIEDEL.
